What is an affiliate program?
An advertising program that pays money to webmasters, bloggers, internet marketers and active online users to drive traffic to MarineClassifiedAds.com which results in visitor spending or clicking on a Google Ad.

We pay a commission when a visitor from your site or link (and affiliate ID) clicks on a Google Ad with your Adsese Publisher ID or makes one of the following purchases on MarineClassifiedAds.com:

How does the Google Adsense Revenue Share program work?
MarineClassifiedAds.com has permission from Google AdSense to be a Third Party Publisher.

The steps are easy. . .

• First, you have to have a Google Adsense account which you can get here:
  
  
  
  
• Second, register at MarineClassifiedAds.com as an Affiliate and enter your Google Pub-Id in the Affiliate registration form. Register here.
• Third, you add our Affiliate link(s) to your forum, blog, website or personal webpage.

When visitors click on your Affiliate link (on your site) our server records your Affiliate Id and we begin rotating your Adsense Pub-Id on every other page that your user views. If the user clicks on one of the Google Ads there is a 50/50 chance that you will get credit for it. Also keep in mind that if the user places an ad and upgrades it, you get 70% of the revenue!

*Please remember, the Adsense TOS expressly forbids clicking on your own ads. Google will detect the fraudulent clicks, suspend your account, remove you from the Adsense program and you will forfeit any outstanding balance owed.

So. . NEVER CLICK ON YOUR GOOGLE ADS OR HAVE YOUR FRIENDS OR FAMILY DO IT!

Does Google approve of this program?
We have received permission from Google to rotate multiple Adsense Publisher Ids on our site. If you need further information you can contact us here OR send a note to Adsense Support and ask them if it’s ok.
But remember, you must always follow the Google Adsense Terms of Service.

How much money can I make off of the GoogleAdsense Revenue Share?
Each click can be a few cents to a few dollars. Every now and then clicks can be up to $20 dollars. We’ve seen them average around 12-50 cents, but it varies. MarineClassifiedAds.com is one of the few Affiliate programs that gives you every opportunity to monetize your traffic.

Can I buy from my own affiliate link?
Yes - One time only - you can make a single purchase through your own Affiliate link for testing purposes only so you can verify that the system works.

When do I get paid?
We process all payments on the 10th of the month for the previous calendar month. For example the commission you earn in October will be mailed on the 10th of November (if the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday the checks will be mailed on the next normal business day).

What currency do you pay me in?
We send all payments in US Dollars.

Do you have a minimum payout rate?
We have a minimum payout rate of $25. If you don't generate $25 in a month the funds get rolled over to the next month and so on until you hit $25.

What's the standard payout rate?
Our standard payout rate is 50% (which will become effective December 1, 2007 when the special 90% promotion ends).

How much can I expect to earn?
The amount you earn is up to you. It all depends on how prominently you display our links and how many people you send to us who upgrade their ads.

How do you track referrals?
Referrals are tracked in cookies. Cookies are a standard part of the internet. They are tiny text files that are stored on the computer of the person who visited us by clicking your link.

What is the cookie duration?
Our cookies are set to last for 180 days. This means that if somebody signs up at any time for up to 6 months after visiting MarineClassifiedAds.com via one of your links they are automatically assigned to your account.

How do the referral links to MarineClassifiedAds.com work?
The URL links to MarineClassifiedAds.com that you place on web pages and emails work by having your Affiliate ID set as the 'target' attribute of the URL link. Our system reads the target when somebody follows your URL link to us.

Absolutely! Our system will pickup your Affiliate ID from any page in MarineClassifiedAds.com so please send visitors to the location that you think they will be most interested in. Highly targeted traffic arriving at the right page is the secret of high sales volumes.

What happens if I spam with my Affiliate link?
If we receive complaints that an affiliate has spammed using their Affiliate link the account will be immediately reviewed. If it turns out that it was used in a spam campaign we will close the account and the Affiliate will forfeit all unpaid commissions.

What happens if there's a chargeback?
A chargeback is when a customer contacts their credit card company and disputes the charges and has it cancelled. If this happens we will reverse your commission for that payment.
